Larkspur Conservation along with The Nature Conservancy has identified an 155-acre tract of land in Sumner County, TN suitable for burials, wildlife protection, recreation and other preservation goals. After acquisition the land will be preserved forever through a conservation easement. The proposed site is adjacent to Taylor Hollow State Natural Area, an 173-acre woodland located along the Highland Rim. Its mixed Mesophytic forest is considered the most biologically diverse forest community in the Eastern U.S. Larkspur Conservation will improve the existing Natural Area as well as its own property, growing the conservation effort to 300+ acres and adding protection for the Cumberland River Watershed.
